The investment from GIF will give Kalda the opportunity to infuse the voices of the community into our support tools and empower the community."
Why did you seek investment?
We sought investment to scale our impact on the mental health of LGBTQIA+ individuals. This community faces higher rates of mental health challenges due to systemic stigma, and we needed funding to build better products, maintain health compliance, and bring Kalda to millions over the coming years.
Why did you choose the Growth Impact Fund?
We met GIF early in our fundraising journey, and their thoughtful due diligence process and values-led approach stood out. They care deeply about social impact and supporting underrepresented founders who often face bias and limited access to funding networks — something I’ve experienced firsthand while building Kalda.
