Aimée Bryan
Head of Investment (Maternity Cover) at UnLtd
she/her/hers
Aimee serves as the Head of Investment at UnLtd, the Foundation for Social Entrepreneurs, where she co-leads the Growth Impact Fund alongside Hana. In her role, she oversees the portfolio management team, which is responsible for executing outreach activities, preparing social ventures for due diligence, and providing post-investment support to enhance capital access for underrepresented founders. Most notably, Aimee has experience as the founder of both a wellbeing and an edtech business, scaling a growth accelerator with London & Partners, embedding innovation practice and product development at the LEGO Group, launching and completing the first investments at the Venture Studio at Crisis.
David Bartram

David is Director of Delivery & Investment at UnLtd. He has over 15 years of experience of social purpose business support and social investment. David started his career in consultancy and financial services with McKinsey & Company and Lloyds Banking Group respectively.
Hana Hussain
Investment Director at Big Issue Invest

Hana is an Investment Director at Big Issue Invest, where she co-leads the Growth Impact Fund in partnership with Unltd. Alongside her investment role, she advises the West Yorkshire Combined Authority on Strategy and Innovation in the region and mentors diverse emerging fund managers through the Pathway Programme. A former banking executive with over 15 years across Financial Services, Hana specialises in corporate strategy, data, and technology transformation. Her investment experience spans venture philanthropy and early-stage VC, including launching a global venture philanthropy firm in collaboration with Qatar Foundation and investing in Silicon Valley across Foundational AI, HealthTech, FinTech and Consumer Tech. Hana combines institutional discipline with venture agility, supporting founders through fundraising, go-to-market strategy, commercial readiness, governance and scale.
Kieran Carty
Investment Manager at Big Issue Invest

Kieran Carty is an Investment Manager at the Growth Impact Fund, where he brings a decade of experience across venture capital, private equity, and fintech entrepreneurship. Prior to joining the fund, Kieran founded Blume, a consumer fintech startup focused on credit-building solutions for underserved Americans, and held Entrepreneur-in-Residence roles at Equal Opportunity Ventures and Blue Ridge Labs by Robin Hood. He has led investments across emerging markets with the Soros Economic Development Fund and began his career in investment banking at Credit Suisse. Kieran holds an MBA from Stanford University, where he was a Fulbright Scholar, and a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Manchester.
Lars Hagelmann
Head of Investments at Big Issue Invest

Lars is Head of Investments at Big Issue Invest and joined BII in 2016. Lars has over 20 years’ experience in direct investment and investment management and has launched two funds at BII. Lars started his career in Berlin with BDO in Corporate Finance before moving to London to work for SISU Capital, sourcing and managing direct Private Equity investments. He spent 6 years in the Middle East in Venture and Private Equity with a focus on education, healthcare and real estate.
Raheem Manan
Portfolio Manager at UnLtd

Raheem is a Portfolio Manager for the Growth Impact Fund. His experience includes working with the impact investing team at Guy's & St Thomas' Foundation and in the financial services and public sectors, with a specific focus on pan-African and global enterprises. Inspired by his upbringing in a South African township, Raheem is committed to fostering positive social impact for underserved and disadvantaged communities.
Trishna Nath

Trishna serves as the Head of Investment at UnLtd, the Foundation for Social Entrepreneurs, where she co-leads the Growth Impact Fund alongside Sarah. In her role, she oversees the portfolio management team, which is responsible for executing outreach activities, preparing social ventures for due diligence, and providing post-investment support to enhance capital access for underrepresented founders. Before joining UnLtd, Trishna was an Investment Manager at Nesta and has worked with social purpose organisations across various sectors, including arts and culture, health, education, and social justice, in the United States.
George Taktak
Portfolio Manager at UnLtd

George is a Portfolio Manager supporting founders post-investment. As a patented inventor and social entrepreneur, George has first hand knowledge of the challenges our founders face, having led change in the mental health sector through How Mental, a global wellbeing community platform and developed assistive technologies to support people with Alzheimer’s. Prior to entrepreneurship, George worked at Deloitte and led Marketing at a high-growth scale-up. He holds an Economics degree from LSE.
