What is the Growth Impact Fund?
An investment fund. We offer social purpose organisations investment, and support entrepreneurs to grow their impact and sales. We support organisations with a social purpose that are focused on tackling inequity, and have diverse representation at board and leadership level.
Who do we support?
For our RPA and equity investments, the fund seeks to invest in organisations that have more than 75% representation at board and at least 50% representation at Senior Leadership Team of individuals who fall into one or more of the following categories:
- Belong to a racialised community including Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic
- Disabled
- Women
- LGBTQIA+
- Lived experience of a social challenge
- Experience of socio-economic disadvantage
For our debt investments, we are looking for organisations that demonstrate a clear commitment to improving diversity, equity and inclusion.
Our impact
We see our impact as being threefold:
- To reach approximately 120 organisations. We will help these organisations access the investment and support that they need to grow. We will also help them meet their business goals and increase the diversity of their leadership.
- To help the clients and customers of organisations access excellent services. We believe that diverse-led organisations are best placed to find the most innovative solutions to tackle rising inequity. Our support will help reduce inequity in our communities, sector and service.
- To use our learnings and influence to support the investment sector to be more inclusive in its funding. To support leaders to maximise their impact, irrespective of background. To put in place a learning process that supports the improvement of the fund, and the market we are operating in.
